 The
Town of Wappinger is proud to exclusively utilize
the services of TRANSCARE Ambulance Service for
emergency medical situations affecting Town
residents. TRANSCARE consistently provides response
times faster than the area average, which translates
into increasing the likelihood of your protection in
an emergency. And with both Basic and Advanced Life
Support personnel, you can expect the highest level
of professionalism and care.
To eliminate the concern for the cost of an
ambulance, the Town of Wappinger Town Board has
provided for a Town-wide Ambulance District that
covers the cost of the ambulance over that of
available insurance. As a Wappinger resident, you
should never have to think twice before summoning
emergency care.
TRANSCARE is directly
linked to Dutchess County’s Enhanced 911 service.
