September 21, 2016 - Residents of the United Wappinger Water District east of All Angels Road including the Royal Ridge Subdivision in the Town of Wappinger are being advised to limit water use.
CAMO Pollution Control, Inc. will be flushing hydrants between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. beginning Monday, October 3, 2016 through Friday, October 21, 2016.
During the flushing, residents may experience erratic water pressure and turbid water conditions. This condition will only be temporary. AT ALL TIMES THE WATER WILL MEET SATISFACTORY SANITARY QUALITY. The flushing will bring about long-term improvements in water quality.

January 11, 2016 - The Highway Department Emergency Phone system has been activated and is in service. Residents should call 845.297.4158 ext. 2 should there be an emergency need for the Highway Department after hours. Please note this phone number is also posted on the Town website. Please be reminded that no person or persons between November 1st of each year and April 1st of the following year and between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 8:00 a.m. during such months, no vehicle shall be left standing or allowed to remain parked upon any public highway of the Town of Wappinger. Also be reminded to remove all recreational equipment and trash receptacle’s from the Town roads during this period. Failure to do so could result in an issuance of a traffic violation.
